, email von Beth Long about Simon Molnar. "I'm attaching a gedcom. I made of the descendants of Simon Molnar from my main database. I added some information about your own family from the gedcom. you posted on the Internet.
It's interesting that in my main database are a number of German surnames; these represent ethnic German men who married Hungarian women. After several generations, it appears that the families merged into the Hungarian community. Your family is the first I've found so far where a Hungarian woman became part of the ethnic German community (and whose descendants wound up in Germany!)
I am actually 1/4 German myself (on my mother's side). I was recently in Legnica, Poland, doing some genealogy research on my mother's family, and in 1999, my sister and I attended a family reunion near Gera.".

"I just found the marriage of Josef Koneczny in the Andrasfalva Marriage church books; on November 11, 1894, he married 18 year-old Maria Rezniczek (daughter of Johann Rezniczek and Maria Russ of Neu-fratautz). The record does not give Josef's age, but does say that he is the son of Josef Koneczny and Maria Twers of Radautz, and that he is a watchmaker/clockmaker.
In your database, I see you have him linked with another wife, so I assume this Maria died shortly after the marriage(?).
I took a look for the marriage record of Johann Rezniczek and Maria Russ. It was on January 21, 1866. Johann was 33 years old, and a clockmaker(?) in Alt-fratautz (parents names not given). Maria was 16, and her parents were Josef Russ and "Katherina" of Neu-fratautz. Her father was a miller.".
