Vážený pane, prohlédli jsme rodnou matriku Hranic na Moravě a sdělujeme Vám že se zde v letech 1800-1820 narodil jediný Franz Anton Konečný, a to 1.8.1814 (M 6794, fol. 524). Jeho otcem byl sedlák Anton Konečný, matkou Magdalena, dcera Leopolda Heřmana z Kunčic. Vzhledem k tomu, že v současné době genealogické rešerše (sestavování rodokmenu) neprovádíme, neboť nemáme odpovídající ceník, doporučujeme žadatelům, aby si např. prostřednictvím Internetu vyhledali agenturu, resp. osobu, která jim s vyhledáváním předků pomůže, nebo sami navštívili naši badatelnu a potřebné údaje si v matrikách vyhledali. Badatelna je otevřena v pondělí a ve středu od 8.00 do 17.00 hod., v úterý a ve čtvrek od 8.00 do 15.00 hod.; v pátek je zavřeno. Za každou předloženou matriku vybíráme kolek v hodnotě 20,- Kč a badatel se musí prokázat platným občanským průkazem , příp. cestovním pasem. Návštěvu není nutné ohlašovat předem. His father was Anton Konecny and mother Magdalena, daughter of Leopold Herman (mark above r) from Kuncice (mark above c). It is possible to visit the searching room in the archives at Mo and We from 8 to 17 or Tu and Thr from 8 to 15 , Friday it is closed. For each birth book one searches in must be payed a fee 20 Kc; the staff of the archives dosn't make genealogical searches.....

It's interesting that in my main database are a number of German surnames; these represent ethnic German men who married Hungarian women. After several generations, it appears that the families merged into the Hungarian community. Your family is the first I've found so far where a Hungarian woman became part of the ethnic German community (and whose descendants wound up in Germany!)
